Meet the Doctor
Alex Welsch, OD
Dr. Alexander Welsch is an Iowa native, originally from Greenfield. He attended undergraduate studies at Grand View University, where he was a member of the Viking men’s basketball team. He received his doctorate in optometry from Indiana University. Shortly after, he moved home to reconnect with, and grow, his Iowan community.
Dr. Welsch practices full scope, primary eye care. He also specializes in the treatment and management of dry eye and ocular surface disease.
As someone who comes from a small, closely knit community, he wants to develop that sort of relationship with his patients.
He looks forward to taking care of and getting to know you and your family.
